Home Team Festival 2013

Pei Pei and Hao Hao were fascinated by the ambulance and fire engines when we visited the fire station a week ago. I hope that we would have a chance to bring them to take a ride on police cars. Of course, not because we are caught by police!

So when we knew about Home Team Festival that was held at Singapore Expo Hall 4 over last weekend, we brought them to see the police cars, search and rescue vehicles and vessels, and also take a look at what the home team officers do.

Hao Hao pointed at this vehicle and said he wanted to go up.

Apparently, they did not know what it was.

It was actually the "Tremorlator" which was a simulator for tremor drills. I told that that it would shake, they were very chilled about it, until...

When the simulator started, they were a bit shocked! Even when the simulator stopped, Hao Hao still held the table tightly.

Pei Pei the riot police, but she needed two more officers to help to support the shield and the helmet!

Just because he wanted to drive it. The first thing he asked the officer, "Is the air-con working?"

It was a good exercise for Pei Pei to climb up the ladder. That is part and parcel of what firefighters have to do.

The highlight of the day is driving police car and fire engine! I mean the toy cars.

Thank you Home Team for keeping our home safe and secure!
