Blossom Beats @ Gardens By the Bay

[Media Invite]

I can still remember my 花見 (hanami, meaning flowering viewing) experience 12 years ago at Japan - the cherry blossom was spectacular! How I wished that I could enjoy cherry blossom with my family! And yes, my dream finally came true without stepping out of Singapore! We visited Blossom Beats Floral Display at Gardens By the Bay!

Featuring a variety of Cherry (sakura) and Peach, the floral display is styled after a traditional Japanese garden. We saw torii gate, taiko drums, Japanese screens and kimono. I took this opportunity to share with my children about Japanese culture, as we are planning a trip to Japan in June!

It was very crowded when we were there on Saturday! So you can tell the excitement that Singapore residents and tourists have to see cherry blossom in our tropical country! If not for the crowd, I would love to take my time to admire at the cherry blossom.
