Pokémon at Changi Airport

[Media Invite]

To be honest, I don't know much about Pokémon, except Pikachu and Snorlax. Because my children give me a nickname "Snorlax", as nowadays I tend to wake up later than they do in the morning! Oh well, I need that extra beauty sleep to compensate my sleep deprivation during my first 3 years of motherhood! They like Pokémon very much, so you can tell how excited they were when they heard that they could find Pokémon at Changi Airport!

Pikachu Parade on 18 November 2016

There were two Pikachu parades at 10.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on 18 November 2016. We went to the one in the evening, it was so crowded! As our children's safety is our paramount, we decided not to squeeze with the crowd right in front of the giant Pikachu. Though we didn't manage to see the performance from the front, the children were still excited to see the line of 10 Pikachu marching into and out of the performance area.

Look who was waving at us!

Pokémon Photo Spots

At T3 Departure Hall, we were greeted by the lovely Christmas decorations - a 7-metre tall Pikachu, Gingerbread House and Christmas tree with Pikachu!

Some other Pokémon can also be found at the same level.

The children were eager to visit T2 Departure Hall to look for me, erm, I mean, Snorlax.

A smaller Pikachu was spotted at T2 too.

Free Pokémon Interactive Games

Another enjoyable moment at Changi Airport for the children was playing Pokémon interactive games. We generated our unique QR code from to play Pokémon Z-moves and Narikiri Face Painting. They are absolutely FREE!

When the children were queuing for Pokémon Z-moves, they were practising the moves when other people were playing, so they became experts when it was their turn!

After the work-out together with Pokémon, we could watch our videos from a unique URL.

Narikiri Face Painting reminded me of Neoprint photo booth! Are you from the same era as me? We decorated our faces with Pikachu festive look, and recorded a video, which can be viewed from the unique URL too.
